Before beginning to develop a specification and design of your product with PowToon, you need to look
at other existing products.

These products can give you ideas on how you will make your product.

Example of strength and weakness analysis of this PowToon presentation:

+ It uses a variety of images, and some images are taken from outside sources (not all from PowToon)

+ Uses different types of entry and exits animation for the texts, images and characters

+ Timings of each frames are not too slow and not too fast, it gives enough time for the audience to
read before it goes to the next frame
+ It has a title slide that introduces audience to the content of the story

+ Mood of the music matches with the storyline

+ Some backgrounds are neutral; thus, it matches with the content

+ Length of video is more than 1.5 minutes

− Doesn’t include the creator’s name

Design Year 7
− Mis-spelling (0:56), and some grammatical errors

− No credits at the end for images and music taken from other people

− Some texts are hard to read (black fonts with dark background)

− Some of the image quality is not that great

My Analysis:

+ The transition is great

+ Good tips

+ easy to understand

+ Text is great

+ it has images and animations to support the presentation

- Too much decoration

- The color doesn’t really suit the background nor the character

- The character’s color is too bright that it doesn’t really match with the background

- The character is a bit weird

+ Good explanation

+ Different color of each sentence , attracts people to look at it

+ Easy to understand

+ Color doesn’t hurt peoples eyes

+ Font is good , not weird
