The Þórrvillisvín

“Iventured forth beneath the ancient boughs of the

towering trees .Hoary beyond reckoning, they stood.
Emerging from the shadows, I glimpsed… akin to the
stories of the ageless past, I gazed with awe upon a
elusive Þórrvillisvín in a quaint forest northeast of the
capital, their existence on the brink. Tales tell that these
majestic boars bear the divine benediction of Talos, the
god of storms.” – Stigandr Ulfson, Drengr Explorer
The watchful boars loom over this great frozen,
shrouded in dark myth and guarded by living effigies of
storm and snow. A group of hunters trek though the
desolte tundra from the depths of their homeland,
unknowingly wandering into a Þórrvillisvín domain. The
hunters spot a shoat and launch a deadly ambush from
a oak tree, unbeknownst to them, the mother of this
shoat stalks quietly from the shrubs nearby, enraged
and electrified.
Rough and Thunderous
Vain and territorial, Þórrvillisvín’s move through the
skies or dash through forests, protecting their kin from
danger and paying tribute to their leader in the forms of
food and precious metals such as copper, silver, and
gold. The wild Þórrvillisvín are found in the arctic
forests of Jarnheim while domensticated ones are
scattered throughout the country. They guard their
territories against all potential threats, especially the
Drengr who, since 745 1E, have hunted the Þórrvillisvín
to near exstinction.
Today, there are around 157 Þórrvillisvín left in the wild
and around 60 in captivity by the Frost Giants who have
taken a keen tnterst in these creatures for both their
abiltiy to find precious metals as well
