Forxar began in the year 1986 as a metal tubes supplier under the name of Metal Tubes India. In 2001, they
assumed a new identity of Metallica Tubes India (MTI) & expanded their product profile to become a leading stockist
of a wider gamut of products such as tubes, pipes, pipe-fittings, flanges and other piping components. MTI developed
a sizable clientele for these products across India, which included reputed OEM's, EPC's, Engineering and Project
Consultants, regional stockists and various end users.
2015 was a landmark year for MTI. It ventured into manufacturing with a fresh new entity, Forxar Industries.
Forxar was set up to produce high quality range of pipe-fittings, flanges and other piping components in Stainless
Steel & High Nickel Alloys. Its capabilities include supplying best-in-class end-to-end solutions of all piping
requirements. Customized piping packages are also available, offering convenient & cost effective bargains.

exporting valves since 2003 with a specialisation in 'emission free' bellow sealed gate & globe valves. Valvola has
been providing valves to a wide spectrum of industries such as Petrochemicals, Thermal & Nuclear Plants, Oil & Gas,
Refineries, Chemicals, Power, Fertilizers, Pulp & Paper. Valvola customer references include eminent domestic as
well as international business houses. Its product range of Gate, Globe, Check, Ball & Butterfly valves perfectly
complements the piping portfolio of Forxar Industries.

Anti-static
Build-up of static electricity due to friction between ball and soft seat material is a
fire hazard. A spring-loaded plunger is provided on the stem to ensure electrical
continuity and to dissipate any static electricity generated.
Blowout-proof Stem
Blowout-proof Stem
The stem of Forxar Trunnion-mounted Ball Valves has an integral shoulder that
butts against a matching profile in the body to make it blowout-proof. This feature also
enables online replacement of packing rings during an emergency.
Cavity Relief
To prevent damage to valve seats and ball due to over-pressurization inside cavity,
all Forxar Trunnion-mounted Ball Valves are provided with automatic cavity pressure relief
mechanism. When pressure of entrapped fluid exceeds 1.33 times the rated pressure,
the spring-loaded seat gets pushed away from the ball to relieve pressure.
Internal Trunnion Holder
Trunnion-mounted Ball Valves are equipped with internal trunnion holders (bearing
blocks). This design eliminates a leakage path as well as prevents accidental damage
during handling.

Antistatic Feature
Static electricity builds up inside a valve when the ball rubs against
non-metallic seats. This is a fire hazard, especially in flammable fluid
pipelines. Forxar Ball Valves have inbuilt antistatic mechanisms to
provide electrical continuity. Stems of full bore valves of size 65 mm and
above and regular bore valves of size 80 mm and above are equipped
with spring-loaded plungers. In valves of smaller sizes, electrical continuity
is achieved by using Carbon-filled PTFE thrust seal and graphite stem
packings.
One-line Service
Three-piece Ball Valves are designed for easy on-line service. To
access the valve internals, remove three connector bolts and swing the
body out using the fourth bolt as a pivot.
Fire-Safe Feature
Forxar fire-safe Ball Valves feature secondary metal seats. In the
event of a fire, after the soft-seat totally sublimates, the ball moves and
abuts the downstream metal seat to form a leak-tight seal.

An exclusive features with advance engineering product being manufacture by Forxar. At present our each
types of Hot Oil Jacketed Valve and Steam Jacketed Ball Valve satisfactory perform in mentioned application and
services.
Model Series FJK80/81 each Jacketed Ball Valves have by default provision of ISO 5211 Direct mounting pad,
Elliptical gland flange for stem sealing, Chevron type V shape gland packing rings, API 6FA/API 607/BS ISO
12266-II/BS 6755-II Standard Fire safe design secondary metal seats, High temperature media suitable ball seat
rings, Hand lever locking provision/arrangement in open or close position.
Jacketed Valves largely use to sustain process media temperature during process to keep fluids at a lower
viscosity to operate valve smoothly.
Each Full Jacketed Ball Valve body construction replace by adding minimum one size higher flanges to achieve
proper tighten space of bolt and nut. As example: for Full Jacketed Valve Size DN50 x DN80 (2” x 3”), Jacketed Ball
Valve has the nominal bore of DN50 (2” – 50MM) and the flange size DN80 (3” – 80MM), which allows enough
space for bolting clearance after jacket fabricated (welded) on modified valve body. These types of jacketed ball
valve termed as a Full Jacketed Valve.
Jacketed Valve available with body materials Cast Caron Steel (WCB), Alloy Steel, Cast Stainless Steel
(SS304-316-304L-316L,CF8/CF8M/CF3/CF3M), Low Temperature Carbon Steel (LC1/LCB/LCC), Duplex Steel
(D2205), Super Duplex Steel, Hastelloy (HC-C22/HC276), Alloy 20 (CN7M), Monel, Inconel, Aluminium Bronze,
Nickel Aluminium Bronze etc.
PIPING
When piping the jacketed ball valves, check that no foreign objects will block the inlet, outlet or draining port.
Proper piping enables the steam to flow more effectively to warm the jacketed area.

DESIGN FLEXIBILITY :
• The outlet flange is 45 Deg inclined to the axis of the valve.
• These valves are available in two types of constructions, one the plug opens into the vessels & second
the plug opens into the valve body.
• These valves are available with actuators and manual operated.
• Special temperature sensing arrangement within the valve body itself also can be provided.
• Also the body can be provided with steam / oil / hot water jacketing arrangement to avoid solidification
where in some application fluid tend to solidify at low temperature and discharged in hot condition only.
• These valves are compact, lightweight design and ideal for inline maintenance under the tank.

CV - Flow Co-efficient of a valve is defined as flow of water at 15.6ºC (60ºF) in gallon (US) per minute at a
pressure drop of 1 psi across the valve. KV - Flow Co-efficient of a valve is defined as flow of water with temperature
ranging from 5ºC (40ºF) to 40ºC (104ºF) in cubic meter per hour (m3/hr) at a pressure drop of 1 bar across the valve.
CV and KV values are given for valve in fully open condition.
Forxar Valves manufactures a comprehensive range of Ball Valves in sizes up to 8" (DN 200) and in ASME
classes from 150 to 2500. The valves are offered in combination of size, pressure class, material of construction,
end-connection, etc., to suit myriad applications in process plants, utility lines and HVAC.

Butterfly Valve
Longer Life
The strength of the vulcanised liner as well as its strong bonding with the body ensure that it doesn’t get
deformed and torn by the disc during valve operations. Further, friction during operations is minimized owing to the
smooth liner surface. The strong seat and reduced friction greatly enhance service life of the valve.
Enhanced Reliability
The rugged body is designed to withstand pipeline stresses and vibrations. Further, enhanced liner thickness
assures reliable performance over an extended service. Reinforcements are provided on Aquaseal disc also.
Reliable Drive
In Aquaseal a two-piece shaft is employed for closer control and smooth operation. The shaft is Xylan-coated
to reduce friction and improve wear resistance. While the square shaft provides positive drive, the bottom shaft acts
as a pivot for operational ease.
