1. At a breakfast, 95 people chose coffee for their beverages and 32 people chose
pineapple juice. 52 people chose both tea and pineapple juice. If each person
chose at least one of these beverages. Represent the data by drawing a venn
diagram and answer the following questions?

2. In a survey of college students, 121 had taken one course only,69 had taken
Filipino, 33 had taken TLE, 63 had taken MAPEH, 99 had taken Filipino and
ESP, 31 had taken English and AP, 27 had taken AP and TLE. Draw a venn
diagram to represent these data and find the following;
a. How many had taken the 3 courses?
b. How many had taken AP and TLE but not Filipino?
c. How many had taken English only? TLE only?
d. How many had taken English and AP except TLE?
3. There are 800 people selected by random types of sampling methods. 220 go to
work by car only, 280 go to work by bicycle only, and 140 use both ways,
sometimes go by a car and sometimes with a bicycle. Represent these data with
a venn diagram and answer the following questions;
a. How many people go to work with a bicycle only?
b. How many people go to work with a car only?
c. How many people go by neither car nor bicycle?
d. How many people use at least one of both transportation types?
e. How many people use only one of car or bicycle?
