Summertime

The sun sits in the sky

Shining right at the eye
When it hits summer
I wake up from my slumber

The hot Sun burning me alive

The sun-kissed shores are where I strive
Splish – splash those are music to my ears
I feel like I have no fear

Playing with seashells everyday

Wishing this would stay
Summer can’t last forever
But the memories are sure forever
