Course Objectives:

Knowledge:
To understand automation strategies, system and various components of automation.
To interpret different control system elements in automation process.
To select detection techniques for automation
Skill:
To use different sensors for automation
To acquire the skill of control system and automation
Attitude:
To learn the advancement of industrial automation.
Course Outcomes:

After completion of this course students will be able:


1. To understand Industrial automation principles and strategies (CL-II)
2. To select industrial sensors for automation application (CL-IV)
3. To design PLC programing for required industrial automation. (CL- VI)
4. To analyze PID controller parameters and tune it as per application requirements (CL-IV)
5. To understand Just-In-Time and Lean Production systems(CL-II)
6. To apply automation for different industrial processes (CL-III)
