 Definition of
ARTICLE
Articles are used before nouns or noun equivalents and are a type
of adjective. The definite article (the) is used before a noun to
indicate that the identity of the noun is known to the reader. The
indefinite article (a, an) is used before a noun that is general or
when its identity is not known.
Function of ARTICLE
“A” is used before singular nouns that begin with a
consonant.
“An” is used before singular nouns that begin with a vowel.
"The" is used to refer to nouns that are specific or special
in nature.
Affirmative sentence
EX :
- I have a beautiful flower in my garden.
- She adopted a cute puppy from the shelter.
- He bought an expensive car last week.
- They rented a cozy cabin for their vacation.
- I just saw an amazing movie at the cinema.
Negative sentence
EX :
- I don't have a spare key.
- She couldn't find an available parking spot.
- There isn't an easy solution to this problem.
- He doesn't want a second piece of cake.
- We haven't seen an interesting movie lately.
Introgative sentence
EX :
- Can you lend me a pencil?
- Do you have an extra phone charger?
- Is there an interesting book to read?
- Would you like a piece of cake?
- Have you ever seen a shooting star?
 No Article
We don't usually use an article

- to talk about things in general.

- before the names of countries, cities, towns and

villages.

- with plural nouns and uncountable nouns when

talking about them generally.
Example of No Article
EX:
Asia is Earth's largest and most populous
continent.
I like listening to music.
I got to school everyday.
I love learning English.
Farrel is my cousin.
