VACANT PRINCIPAL POSITION

EUCHARIST LEWIS SDA PRIMARY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant position of principal at
the Eucharist Lewis SDA Primary. Only suitably qualified applicants will be acknowledged.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain order and discipline according to Christian standards
• Provide instructional supervision and leadership
• Provide leadership in the improvement of the educational program and help in developing
relevant subject offerings
• Provide supervision of the teaching and learning process.
• Serve as the secretary of the School Board
• Be the spiritual leader for the school
• Implement the administrative policies of the Mission Executive Committee, Board of
Education and the operational policies of the school.
• Operate the school within the approved budget.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Education Leadership or Educational Administration or related field
• Teacher trained
• At least five years teaching experience and at least two years at the secondary school level
• Administrative/Leadership experience
• Must be a baptized Seventh-day Adventists in regular standing
• SDA certification/committed to be SDA certified
• Knowledge of the Seventh-day Adventist Education system.
• Knowledge of e-learning would be an asset

Other Requirements:
• Excellent inter and intra personal skills.
• Must be knowledgeable of and committed to the philosophy, principles and mission of the
Seventh-day Adventist church to include SDA education and give witness to these values in
his/her Professional and Christian life.
