Guidelines for Parents-Private Transport

1. It has come to the notice of the school authorities that few children are
driving four wheelers to school. In addition to over speeding, children
are often seen driving recklessly. The school cannot take care of safety in
such cases.
2. Accordingly, we need parents to ensure that they are not allowing their
children to drive four wheelers etc. which not only endangers their life
but that of others too.
3. School management is not allowing children to come to the school by
four wheeler If parents are allowing their ward to drive four wheeler to
school then In case of any mishap there will be no liability of school
authorities whatsoever for these violators.
4. School will not provide the four wheeler parking facility for students.
5. We need parents to be aware of the relevant road traffic rules. They are
required to take cognizance of the above aspects and give an
undertaking as given below:
UNDERTAKING
a. I certify that I will not allow my ward, ____________________________
(name), Age/sex _________ , a student of ____________ (class/sec), to drive
four wheeler as the same is not permitted according to the school management.
He/She has Learner/Permanent licence no. ____________________, category
_______________________. The validity of the licence is _________________.
I will always ensure that he/she does not violate the rules.
b. If my ward is found to be driving a four wheeler, I will be solely responsible
for any outcomes and not hold the school or any other party responsible for it
under any circumstances whatsoever.
