Cover page elements.

As we have already discussed, when we prepare a lesson/unit there are many elements
we should consider. Most of these elements/aspects should be noticeable in our presentation
texts.

The following is a presentation text that has been presented in 2 different lessons.

PART 1) Presented in lesson 1

PAGE 1

Phineas and Ferb are brothers. They have a great imagination. Phineas is really creative and intelligent.

One day, he decides to create a machine.

-Ph: Hey bro! Look! I invented a cloning machine!

-Ferb: A machine?

-Ph: Yes! A cloning machine! The clones will help us to do our homework!

PHINEAS PRESSES A BUTTON. “CLONING PHINEAS” CAN BE SEEN ON THE SCREEN OF THE MACHINE.

CANDANCE ENTERS THE BEDROOM.

-Candance: A cloning machine?! Let me see!

CANDANCE PRESSES DIFFERENT BUTTONS. THE MACHINE STARTS SHAKING AND A PHINEAS’ CLONE COMES OUT. BUT HE IS
NOT EXACTLY LIKE PHINEAS.

-Ferb: Is that your clone? He’s taller than you!

-Candance: And he’s thinner than you!

-Phineas: Look! There are 2 more clones!

-Candance: But they don’t look like you!

-Ferb: Look guys! This clone is shorter than you, Phineas!

-Candance: Yes! And that clone is stronger than you!

-Ferb: Let’s follow them!

-CANDANCE: Look! There they are! Catch them!

-PHINEAS: I found the tallest one!

-FERB: I have the strongest one!

-CANDANCE: There is one missing yet!

-PHINEAS : Press the red button now!

FERB PRESSES A RED BUTTON. THE MACHINE ABSORBS THE CLONES.

-FERB: What a day!

-CANDANCE: Let’s go home. Mum and dad will start looking for us!

The children leave the place. They leave the machine on the street.

Perry –who has observed the whole situation- grabs the machine.

In the picture, the machine reads on the screen: CLONING PERRY.
