This song describes the dancing style of a certain woman. In “ella vacila como si na”, vacila can
mean many things such as to sway, to show off, or to joke. “Como si na” literally means like
nothing, but here can be interpreted to mean as if she doesn’t care.
It invites people to “dance what I dance, dance what I say”, and ultimately, to sway and show off
as if you don’t care!
This is a love song to the object of the singer’s affection. He asks her to “don’t be mean and give
me some love”. Cachamba in itself does not have any meaning.
Toward the end, he goes into a fast narrative about a crazy man looking at woman in a bikini
sitting by the seashore.
This song is about two people in love. Her parents do not allow her to see him, or to even
mention his name. Now, she has forgotten about him.
“Que hay de malo” What is wrong with dreaming? Laughing? Loving? Feeling? What is wrong
with being young and wanting to live?
This song is about a man looking for his “pretty woman”. In the moon, in the sea, in the sky, etc.
“Estas perdida” means you are lost. “I have looked for you everywhere”, he says.
However, you will be able to tell that tone of the song is very upbeat and happy.
This song describes how a woman “se menea”, which means wag or wiggle. The singer is
admiring how she dances, walks, and likes attention.
This song begins with the male singer describing how she drives him crazy. Then the female
