*Accommodated onboard is when work location is Offshore OR when a vessel is quayside and
customer/yard provides accommodation and meals on board.
(Offshore is defined as any time the vessel leaves the dock and includes hours spent in
transportation (crew boat/helicopter) from shore to the vessel).
Minimum charge
Minimum hours will be charged at actuals (excluding travel time), however minimum charge is 4 hours per day for domestic In-house
/ Onshore work and 8 hours for abroad In-house / Onshore work. For Accommodated Onboard work, minimum charge is one Daily
Rate per day. Time worked in Overtime will be charged at Overtime rate. UUC work come with a minimum of 12-hour charge per day.
In-house / Onshore Normal Time is limited to 8 hours between 07.00 and 17.00 on weekdays, excluding public holidays at job
location.
Accommodated Onboard Daily Rate is daily charge for 12 hours including weekends and public holidays at job location. At the day of
arrival and the day of departure, the charge will be on pro-rata basis.
In-house / Onshore Overtime is working time exceeding normal time, including weekends, public holidays at job location and all work
outside of the time window between 07.00 and 17.00.
Requests
Requests to a Kongsberg Maritime office or a Kongsberg Maritime appointed agent must include a written confirmation with a
purchase order number and customer’s full name, contact person, address and invoicing details.
Rescheduling / cancellation
If a confirmed service order is rescheduled or cancelled within 2 working days’ notice prior to travel start, additional charge of 35,000
INR will apply. For local ports, within the range of 100 km from home base, additional charge of 17,500 INR will apply on less than 1
working day rescheduling / cancellation notice prior to travel start.
There will be an additional charge of 17,500 INR per day for services performed in Africa Sub-Sahara (except Namibia and South
Africa) and in countries with High or Extreme Risk rating according to www.internationalsos.com
The working conditions in Norway or on a Norwegian installation have to comply with the Norwegian national rules and regulations.
These regulations will be the guidelines for a Kongsberg Maritime representative working outside Norway.
In the event a representative deems the conditions to be unsafe or harmful to health, Kongsberg Maritime reserves the right for
him/her to discontinue his/her work until Kongsberg Maritime views the situation as acceptable. However, Kongsberg Maritime will
inform the customer or site representative and work together in order to sort out the situation.
Working Hours
Normal working hours for Kongsberg Maritime representative on sites or offshore is 12 hours and limited to 16 hours including
Over Time in one 24 hours period.

If the customer or yard provides accommodation or meals on site or onboard, Kongsberg Maritime anticipates the following
standards:
In the event of these requirements not being fulfilled, Kongsberg Maritime reserves the right to charge daily allowance and travel
cost in accordance with the local travel regulations.
