Dear Parent/Guardian,

The SPPIS Student and Parents Handbook is a statement of the behavioural guidelines and school
policies that govern students’ behaviour at SPPIS. Our staff shares with you the responsibility to assist
your child in developing the proper attitudes and skills to make good decisions and become a self-
disciplined citizen. Freedom comes with responsibility and respect for the rights of others. The Board of
Management, principal, vice-principals and teachers are committed to implementing strong behaviour
guidelines to support the teaching and learning process and to assist staff in managing behaviour.

This handbook outlines a number of Behaviour Management Policies including the Disciplinary Policy
which governs student behaviour and the consequences which apply when breached. As a
parent/guardian, you are required to consent to this policy and commit to upholding the standards outlined
in this policy.

Please indicate below that you and your child have read, discussed and agreed to the disciplinary
standards and sanctions of the school’s Disciplinary Policy. It is strongly recommended that you keep
this hand book at home as a reference throughout your child/ward’s tenure at the school. If you have any
