2D and 3D Cut out shapes

2 dimensions (2D) is what you see on paper, TV and your phone. It is anything that can extend in the X and Y direction. 3
dimensions is what you see in real life, things that have depth and extend in 3 directions, (X,Y and Z). Here we will look at
surface area and volume of 2D and 3D shapes.

Fill out the table below of using the shapes attached to the back. Cut them out, measure the surface area and volume,
glue them together to make the 3D shape, then find the surface area and volume again. Do not count the flaps when
getting the surface area and volume.

Show your calculations!
