WWII: Comfort women

Before and during WWII the Japanese imperial army, took women and girls and kidnapped
them to turn them into sexual slaves, these were mostly taken in the countries of the Asian
continent and in a smaller but equally high amount from some countries of the European
continent, they were called comfort women or comfort girls because they were literally
used to "satisfy" the "needs" of soldiers in war.

WWII: Comfort women, it's a short documentary made to know what some women had to
suffer during times of war. Its main topic is to follows the story of the surviving women,
where each one of them narrates their personal experiences and anecdotes serving as
comfort women as well as other issues related to war.

At first, the brothels were designed to send voluntary prostitutes to reduce the number of
rapes caused by these soldiers as well as reduce the spread of venereal diseases, but this
made it worse, so there were no longer volunteers, nor did the women want to work in
designated brothels, and then they started to lie and abduct women and girls form their
home to become comfort women at different comfort stations.

This documentary will be made to remember and show what these women had to go
through because of the war that men caused and the consequences they had to lived for a
supposed "need" that these men had, who even behaved worse than some animals, It is
important to acknowledge something else that oppression and sexism have been capable of
in order not to deconstruct itself and harm so many innocent girls and women through the
violence they have always chosen.
