2.4 Read the scenario below and answer the questions that follow:

Melissa studied graphic design after school and took courses to be able to
prepare unique foods. She combined the two qualifications she received and
designed food products with elegant packaging and beautiful serving. She sold
fast food in the residence in which she lived during her university years and then
used that money to start her own business.

Her grandmother taught her a lot about cooking. This motivated Melissa to
present South Africa's unique dishes a little more modern and to make good
adjustments to the dishes. She also uses quality raw materials that she procures
locally. Her grandmother also taught her to plan ahead. Melissa works out
exactly how much ingredients she needs and does not buy too many or too few
products. Her prices range between R25-125.

She prepared all the products at home and sold them to the deli around the
corner. Her packaging was unique, and she designed it herself. The packaging
caught the attention of many consumers because it was stylish, elegant and
practical. Each product had unique packaging to match the size of the food. She
paid a deposit on a site with the profit she made, to be able t change her business
to a more permanent restaurant.

She got people to hand out brochures about her business and she sent out text
messages to her loyal customers informing them that she would now run her
business from the store. Her customers are very satisfied with her food, because
it tastes the same every time and it is good quality products every time.

She hired 2 full-time workers to help her with the calls and serving of the food,
but Melissa would like to prepare the food herself.
