As the summer days gradually give way to the crisp air of the autumn, we find
ourselves at the beginning of yet another successful and adventure filled school year.
It is with great joy that we welcome you and your children back to Baraem Rowad Al
Khaleej Schools.

As we embark on this new academic year, our commitment to providing a safe,

nurturing, and enriching environment for your children remains stronger than ever. The
well-being of each student is our top priority, and we have taken all necessary
measures to ensure a secure and healthy setting for them to learn and thrive.

For our young learners in Kindergarten to Grade 6, this school year holds promises of
exciting discoveries, captivating lessons, and friendships that will last a life time. Our
dedicated team of educators is ready to guide your children on a journey of
intellectual curiosity, creativity, and personal growth. We believe that every child has
unique talents and strengths, and our curriculum is designed to cater to individual
learning styles and needs.
 First Week
School Hours
• School will start for Nursery, Pre-K, KG and
Grade 1 on Sunday, 20 August 2023.
KG – Grade 1 Mothers are welcome to join us
in class on the 20th of August 2023 for the
first part of the day. (07:30 – 08:30)

• School will starts for Grade Grade 2-6 on

Tuesday, 22 August 2023.

• School will start at 07:30 until 12:00.

• There will be two breaks for stuents to

enjoy a healthy lunch packed into their
schoolbag.

School Hours
• Students should arrive at school at 07:10 for
the morning assembly.
• Classes start at 07:30.

• Nursery, Pre-K and Kg will finish school at

13:45 everyday.

• Grade 1-6 will finish school at 14:00 every

day.

• It is very important that your child arrive at

school on time and be fetched on time.
 Curriculum
Students will have access to a
better American curriculum
for student learning and
development.
The students will receive their
workbooks as well as their
online login details once
school begins.

in Week 2.
Fun Activities and Events
All parents will receive an Activity calendar
every month.

This calendar will explain all the events taking

place at school for the month.

school?
All students should bring:
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Glue
• Ruler
• Color pencils
• 2X Plastic file to keep work in

KG, Grade 1,2 and 3 parents please send this writing

• KG, Grade 1 and 6 needs Arabic notebook 60

pages.

• Grade 6 needs File with transparent sheets.

Students are lucky to have art lessons every
week.

This allows students time to explore their

creative side and be able to create wonderful
artwork.

Art supplies to send to school:

• Water Paint (no acrylic paint)
• Paintbrushes
• Apron (if you wish)
• Color paper
• Playdogh.
 Lunchbox Essentials
A healthy lunchbox is required!

Children learn best when they are eating

good, healthy meals.

We do not allow any candy, chocolate or

chips in students lunchboxes. We want to
avoid big sugar rushes while students learn.
