Data 50 Hz, CE Units

Nominal: 7 to 18 kW
(2 to 5 Tons)

Single-Package Cooling Unit for

Manufactured Housing/Residential
and Light Commercial use designed
in accordance with European
Community (CE) standards.

Features/Benefits
One-piece cooling units with
optional electric heaters,
low installation costs,
dependable performance,
and easy maintenance
Easy installation
Factory-assembled package is a
compact, fully self-contained, electric
cooling unit that is prewired, pre-
piped, and precharged for minimum
installation expense.
50SS units are available in a variety
of standard cooling sizes with volt-
age options to meet residential and
light commercial requirements. Unit
installs easily on a rooftop or a ground-
level pad.
Convertible duct configuration
on the 50SS is designed for easy use
in either downflow or horizontal
discharge applications.
Efficient operation
Good operating economy with
EERs (Energy Efficiency Ratios) up
to 9.0.
Durable, dependable
components
Compressor is designed for high
efficiency. The compressor is hermeti-
cally sealed against contamination to
help promote longer life and de-
pendable operation. Vibration isola-
tion provides quiet operation. Either a

Never operate a motor where a phase imbalance in supply voltage is greater
than 2%. Use the following formula to determine the percent of voltage
imbalance. IMPORTANT: If the supply voltage phase imbalance is more than 2%, con-
