LEARNING
At Camosun, over 90% of our academic and vocational programs offer
students the possibility to engage in a Work Integrated Learning (WIL)
experience. We offer WIL opportunities in a variety of forms, including co-
ops, internships, practicums and strategic volunteering. Regardless of the WIL
experience you participate in, the opportunity will allow you to elevate your
skills and facilitate your transition into the job market after graduation.

Camosun International provides international students with specialized services
and support. Our Victoria-based staff speak more than 20 languages. With an
international office on each campus, our team welcomes students from around
the world and facilitates a positive and successful experience at Camosun!
Camosun’s campuses are well-equipped with the facilities and services to ensure
your time here is productive and enjoyable. At each campus, you will find a library,
bookstore, computer labs, study rooms, fitness centre, cafeteria, coffee shop, and
help centres for English and math. On campus, you can also participate in student
clubs, drop-in and competitive sports teams, exercise classes, and career fairs.

General admission requirements for Camosun’s

» IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 overall (no sub-score less than 6.0)
» Cambridge Assessment of English: C1 Advanced score of 174 overall (no sub-score less than 169)
» GTEC CBT score of 1200 overall (minimum sub-scores: Reading 325; Writing 270; Speaking 260;
Listening 335)
» Duolingo English Test (DET) score of 105 for General Admission to most Certificate and Diploma
programs, and Bachelor of Business Administration programs (exceptions: Nursing and certain other
Health-related programs). Score of 115 for admission to Post-Degree programs (all majors) and Degree
programs offered by Centre for Sport and Exercise Education.

TERRITORIAL
ACKNOWLEGMENT
Camosun College campuses are located on the Traditional
Territories of the Lekwungen and WSÁNEĆ peoples.
The college welcomed its first students in 1971 and adopted the
name "Camosun", a local Lekwungen (Songhees) First Nation
name meaning "where different waters meet and are transformed".
