Main Activities  Pupils talk about what the girl is doing (She’s showing her drawing of a zebra and a
giraffe and pointing out that giraffes are taller than zebras).

 In pairs, pupils draw and label two different animals.
 Pupils present their drawings in front of the class.
 A large space is created in front of the class.
 Pupils mingle around the classroom while the song is played (Track 49).
 When the song is stopped, pupils get into order from tallest to shortest or vice versa.
 Pupils who do not line up fast will be eliminated.
 Once pupils are lined up, they have to say sentences comparing themselves to one
another, for example, “I’m taller than Tom.”
 The activity is repeated with other adjectives.
