Granny Scare Granny Square

by Charissa Ragsdale aka Madlandia.com, 2023

This granny square uses cables, post stitches,
and back loop stitches to create a three
dimensional textured fabric.
Yarn: The sample squares are made using Hobbii 100%
Cotton 8/8 yarn with a 4.5mm hook. You can use any
yarn, though it is important that you have good tension
and understand how to adjust it while working. (Yardage
is on color chart.)
You can use ANY yarn as long as you use a corresponding
hook size and make a gauge swatch.
Hook size for suggested yarns: 4.5mm hook. If you are
using thicker yarns please use the recommended hook for
that yarn and make a gauge swatch to test your tension.

Color Suggestions: This is the chart of colors used in the example. I do not have exact names of the
yarn simply because some of these were already unavailable during the publication of this pattern. But I
will give you the color descriptions and you can use the photos to match colors as you purchase yarn. I will
also include additional color recommendations on my website.
