In this Row you have to crochet the arms in. Here I don`t count the stitches, I simply
crochet the arms in (5sc together with each arm) taking the legs into account (arms
and legs should be in parallel with each other). The distance between the arms is
about 8-9 sc.

Row 34: (3 sc, dec) х 6 (24)

Row 35: (6 sc, dec) х 3 (21), sl st.

Ears consist of two parts.

The large part:

Row 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
Row 2: 6 inc (12)
Row 3: (1 sc, inc) х 6 (18)
Row 4: 18 sc
Fold the ear into two halves and make 8 sc through the both sides. Cut the thread
leaving a long tail for sewing.
The small part:
6 sc in mc, don’t work the slip stitch so that the piece could be a half-circle.
Sew the small part to the large part.

How to assemble the toy

1. Sew the head to the body.

If you have crocheted the arms and legs in, take a thread that was left after making
the body and work sl st to come to the middle of the body. Insert this thread into the
needle, then insert the needle into the center of the head. Sew the head to the body
stitch into stitch. Stuff the area of the neck tightly in the process of sewing. Thus,
you can sew the head evenly and the eyes will be placed in the center.

15
Miss this point if you didn`t crochet the arms and legs in.
In this case, just sew the head to the body stitch into stitch.

2. Tightening of the eyes

Consists of two stages:
The first stage is the same as in all my toys (if you have my crochet patterns, make the
same actions as it is explained there).

16
Tighten the eyes down:
For tightening the eyes I take a long needle. Insert the long thread of the body colour into
this needle.
1. Insert the needle into the middle of the neck, draw it out at the center of the outer part
of the first eye;
2. Insert the needle into the center of the inner part of this eye, draw it out at the middle
of the neck where it was inserted at the start;
3. There will be a loop, tighten it;
4. Insert the needle with the same thread into the middle of the neck slightly to the right
from the point where it was first inserted. Draw it out at the centre of the outer part of the
second eye;
5. Insert the needle into the center of the inner part of the second eye, draw it out at the
neck again. There will be a loop, tighten it;
6. Pull one end of the thread, then pull the other one. If the eyes are not symmetrical fix
them by hand.

17
You can leave the tightening at this stage. But I prefer to make the 2 nd stage
as well, I tighten the eyes to the center. Keep working with the same thread:
1. Insert the needle into the middle of the neck, draw it out at the center of the upper
part of the first eye.
2. Insert the needle into the center of the lower part of this eye, draw it out at the
middle of the neck again. There will be a loop, tighten it from the muzzle’s side.
3. Make the same actions with the second eye.
Thus, the eyes are set deep and beautiful cheeks are formed.
Tie the ends of the threads that are left after the tightening of the eyes together, cut
them and hide them into the head.

18
3. Sew the muzzle at the level of Rows 21-27 of the head. Stuff it slightly with
fiberfill in the process of sewing.

4. Embroider the nose at the level of Rows 3-4 of the muzzle. To do this, I take a
black yarn thread and divide it into 4 strands. I use only 2 strands.

19
5. Embroider the eyes (the eyelashes and the whites of the eyes).

6. Sew the bridge of the nose. To do this divide the end of the thread into two halves
(in two threads). Hide one half with a needle into the toy, use the other half to sew
this piece to the head. Start sewing from the narrow part of the piece that connects
with the muzzle.

20
7. Embroider the stripes on the bridge of the nose with №05 colour yarn.
Embroider the eyebrows at the level of Row 14.

21
8. Sew the ears at the level of Rows 8-15 of the head

9. Sew the arms between Rows 30 and 31 of the body and the legs between rows
13 and 14.

22
10. Sew the tail between Rows 14 and 15 of the body.

23
Sundress
Row 1: Cast on 61 ch, join into a circle. Then work in rounds.
Row 2: 60 sc
Row 3: 60 inc (120)
Rows 4-12: 120 sc (9 rows), change the colour to white and start working the lace.
Row 13: (3 ch, 2 dc into this stitch (this is the stitch from which 3 ch come, there is
an arrow on the photo), miss 2 stitches, sl st into the 3 rd stitch) – till the end of the
row. Cut the thread, hide the ends.
Then work the front part of the sundress.
Count 25 stitches from the place where we have joined 60 ch into a circle, insert
the hook into the 26th stitch and work 10 sc. Work back and forth rows – 7 rows
with 10 sc each, starting each row with 1 ch. Keep working, go to the side edge of
the upper front part of the dress and work it around with sc.

24
How to work the upper front part of the sundress

Do not cut the thread, keep working the straps. Cast on 15 chain, then insert
the hook at the back of the sundress as it is shown on the photo. Work 10 sc, cast
on 15 ch again. Sew the second strap with a needle to the front part of the sundress.

25
The big chamomile
6 petals:
Row 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
Row 2: 6 inc (12)
Row 3: (3 sc, inc) х 6 (15)
Row 4: 15 sc
Row 5: (3 sc, dec) х 3 (12)
Row 6: (4 sc, dec) х 2 (10)
Fold into two halves and work 4-5 sc through the both sides.
Hide the other ends of the 5 petals inside with a needle. Leave the end of the 6th
petal and sew the petals together as it is shown on the photo.

26
The middle of the flower
Row 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
Row 2: 6 inc (12), sl st
Cut the thread, leave the tail. Use it to sew the middle to the center of the flower.

27
The small chamomile
Start with yellow colour:
Row 1: 5 sc in mc
Row 2: 5 inc (10), switch to white colour and keep working the petals:
(3 ch, 3 dc in the same stitch,3 ch, sl st) – 5 times.

Overalls

1. Row 1: Cast on 60 ch, join into a circle. Work 7 rows with 60 sc.
2. Row 8: Work this row in the following way: 56 sc, do not work the last 4
stitches, cast on 4 ch, miss 4 stitches, insert the hook into the 5th stitch (the 1st
stitch of the 9th row).
3. Row 9: 56 sc and 4 sc along the chain (60) – thus, the hole for a tail is formed.
4. Work more 9 rows with 60 sc.

28
5. Make trouser legs: count 30 stitches, insert the hook into the 31st stitch.
6. Work 3 rows with 30 sc, sl st.
7. Do not cut the thread. Turn the hem out and fasten it this way with the
remaining thread and the needle from the inside.
8. Start making the second trouser leg in the same way. Insert the hook into the
stitch as it is shown on photo №8. Work 3 rows with 30 sc, turn out the hem
and fasten it.

29
9. Start forming the chest. Count 10 central stitches. I count them by eye, but you
can find the middle of the tail, count 25 stitches and insert the hook into the 26th
stitch.
10. Make 1 ch, work 10 sc more. Work 7 more back and forth rows with 10 sc,
starting each row with 1 ch.
Do not cut the thread, keep working, go to the side edge of the chest and work all
the upper part of the overalls with sc. Cut the thread and fasten it.

30
Вид сзади – back view

Вид спереди – front view

11. Work the straps: cast on 30 ch, starting with the 2nd stitch from the hook – 29
sc. It is more convenient for me to sew the straps on the toy. That is why I put the
overalls on the toy and then sew the straps.

31
The heart

Make mc, cast on 3 ch, work into mc: 3 tc, 4 dc, 1 tc, 4 dc, 3 tc, 3 ch, sl st into mc.
