I am Felix and I want to tell you about my trip at the peruvian amazon.

I and my family decided to take this trip in January 2023.

My trip began arriving at Iquitos city from Lima by plane. The Iquitos City is the gateway at Peruvian
Amazon.

First before to start, let me give you some advices. The amazon has a tropical climate

Include insect repellent, medication, sunglasses, sunscreen, binoculars, sandals, and a swimsuit in
your luggage. It is advisable to bring additional clothing and socks.

Iquitos is a city that cannot be reached by road; It is only accessible by river and air. The night in
Iquitos is full of music and nice people.

In the day, boat tours are one of the most popular activities for those interested in seeing pink
dolphins, giant river turtles, manatees, black caimans, spider monkeys, jaguar, many species of
Amazonian birds, alligators, anacondas, tarantulas, and much more.

The amazon river is the largest river by discharge volume of water in the world and it is navigable.

We went to visit the Pacaya Samiria reserve there are varieties of dolphins: the gray dolphin or bufeo
and the pink dolphin, with a long beak and bulging head. The natives attribute certain magical
powers to these species that approach the banks of the rivers at night.

The visit to the reserve is strictly through the rivers and it is possible to stay in tourist lodges located
on the banks

The experience was amazing for me, I wish can to do again on the future.
