Course Description

Shimadzu offers a free 3 day, face-to-face training program for universities. The program
covers basic knowledge on gas and liquid chromatography, as well as mass spectrometry.
It further dives into how method development is approached in the industry and how the
basic principles of chemistry are used to effectively create a new method. Learn how to set
up methods, acquire and process data using the Shimadzu instruments and software. The
program provides a unique perspective to learn from the industry with hands-on experience.

Pre-requisites

This course is best suited to honours, masters, PhD students and technical staff with a
scientific background and basic knowledge in chromatography and mass spectrometry.
