Thank you for purchasing the CTO METROPOLIS ARK 1 Template.

To utilize this template you need to own ORCHESTRAL TOOLSs METROPOLIS

ARK 1 library
https://www.orchestraltools.com/store/collections/metropolis-ark-1

This template is aimed at speeding up your workflow and get you into writing
quickly without worrying about setting up Routings, Folders, Fx and Groupings.
Everything from METROPOLIS ARK 1 is already in place, ready to go.
IMPORTANT:
Unfortunately I am no longer able to offer these templates with all sounds
preloaded. In the Kontakt Versions you’ll find an empty instrument per channel
with the corresponding patch name, simply drag the correct patch from your
library on top to replace the empty one. The same applies to the Sine Player
Version. Simply open the instance and load the patch from the Track name. I
suggest to load all patches in one session and then resave it so you can always
access the loaded version of the template.
You don’t need to do this twice, the empty template projects are the same as the
trailer project, just without the Midi Data.
All patches are used in their default mic position. The only difference to the
default state in the SinePlayer version are the Guitar Patches.
In the trailer track I use the Power Chords and Power Chords Muted Articulations
in the same patch with both keyswitches activated and velocity based. Please see
the screenshot below.

What Is Included?
This template comes with 4 project files.
1) The full version of my METROPOLIS ARK trailer track. Consider this a
learning tool, this project is for personal use only. You can analyze the Midi
data, Mix settings, harmony etc. (For KONTAKT 6 or SINE)
2) The empty template, pre-set up to load your patches and pre Mixed,
KONTAKT 6 or SINE. Please be advised, the channel settings on the
individual channels are derived from the demo track I wrote, they can only
serve as a starting point. The ultimate mixing decisions and settings need to
be made based on your music and what you write. Consider them as a
starting point to get going.
If you don’t get any sound after opening and loading a project, make sure to
check your output connections in Cubase (F4)

You need the following 3rd party plugins

1) Slate Digital VMR, VBC, Infinity EQ (all part of the Slate Subscription bundle)
2) Valhalla Vintage Verb ($50) - https://valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/valhalla-vintage-
verb/
This is my favorite Reverb. If you do not have this one, just ignore the error
message upon opening and replace the missing plugin with your favorite
Reverb
3) The trailer track has an instance of Fabfilter PRO-L 2 as mastering limiter.
If you do not have this one, just ignore the error message upon opening
and replace the missing plugin on the Master Bus with your favorite Bus
Limiter

The project folder contains the preset bank for Slate VMR as well as an effect
preset for Slate Infinity EQ on the Guitar Stem.

I hope you have fun writing with this template.
