OCCUPATION SURVEY

Introduction:
We would like to introduce you to an interesting survey about occupations in Tamil Nadu.
The survey focuses on the occupations before and after the independence of Tamil Nadu. As you may
know, during the British colonial era, almost all occupations and trades were controlled by them. This
survey not only explores the various occupations during that period but also provides a pie chart
explanation for a better understanding. Furthermore, the survey also sheds light on the new
occupations that emerged after the independence of Tamil Nadu. I hope you find this survey insightful
and informative.
Data analysis
The charts suggest that prior to India's independence, people had
limited options for employment, which resulted in a significant
number of individuals choosing agriculture as their profession. This
led to the cultivation of a diverse range of crops and contributed
significantly towards India's economic and trade value. This is also
the reason why the British colonizers took an interest in India's
agriculture sector.

However, after India gained independence, people had access to

more diverse career options, which led to a rise in agriculture and
the beginning of the industrialization era. This shift helped India's
economy to grow both domestically and globally, leading to an
increase in job opportunities and overall economic development.
Conclusion

The British colonization of various nations

had both positive and negative impacts. On one
hand, they controlled and monopolized trade,
which had a detrimental effect. However, on the
other hand, they also played a pivotal role in
initiating the industrial revolution.
