The pursuit of clean and sustainable energy sources has propelled India to the
forefront of the global solar revolution. As the country continues to make
significant strides in harnessing solar power, the solar plant monitoring industry
has emerged as a crucial enabler, ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and
longevity of solar installations. This essay provides an in-depth overview of the
solar plant monitoring industry in India, exploring its evolution, key features,
market players, and its pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable energy in
the nation.
SuryaLog is one of the leading product family for solar monitoring, feedin
management, PV-DG controller and IoT based solutions for solar power plants.
SuryaLog devices and solutions make a remarkable contribution to the successful
integration of solar energy into an intelligent power and help to make a successful
transition to clean energy. Our intelligent controlling systems maximize the
consumption of self-produced power.

User interfaces and monitoring dashboards are integral components for user
interaction and system management. The literature emphasizes the role of
user-friendly interfaces in providing stakeholders with real-time insights,
configurability options, and timely alerts. A well-designed interface enhances
user understanding and facilitates proactive measures for feedback prevention.
The literature review establishes a foundation for our project at Suryalogix Pvt
Ltd by synthesizing key findings related to feedback power prevention,
datalogger systems, advanced algorithms, communication protocols, dynamic
controls, and user interfaces. By leveraging insights from existing research,
our project aims to contribute to the advancement of monitoring and

ROLES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Documentation:
1.SOP Making (Standard Output Process):
1.1 Identify process or task
Clearly define the process or task for which you are creating the SOP. Be
specific and concise about what the SOP will cover.
1.2 Define the Purpose
Clearly state the purpose of the SOP. What is the goal or objective of the
process, and why is it important?
1.3List the Steps:
Break down the process into sequential steps. Use clear and simple language.
Each step should be easily understandable by someone with the necessary
skills and knowledge.
1.4 Include Necessary Details:
Provide all the relevant details, including tools, equipment, materials, and
specific conditions required for each step.
1.5 Safety Considerations:
If applicable, include safety precautions and guidelines. Ensure that the SOP
complies with any relevant safety regulations and standards.
1.6 Review and Approval:
Have the SOP reviewed by subject matter experts and stakeholder.
Incorporate their feedback to improve clarity and accuracy.
Communication Protocols:
Configure communication protocols for data transmission and
reception within the solar monitoring network. Ensure compatibility
with various sensors and devices.
Client Interaction:
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and
tailor solutions accordingly. Provide technical expertise during client
meetings and presentations.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software
developers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to ensure
seamless project execution. Foster a collaborative and innovative work
environment.
Methodology:
PURPOSE
In industry most of the time solar will be installed before NET metering.
Because NET metering takes some 4-5 months of standard time to go

through all the permissions. Due to this we cannot run the solar plant with its
full efficiency till NET metering just to avoid feeding excessive power to grid.
Feeding of excessive solar power to GRID will cause you penalty. This zero
export controlling is optimized way to run your power plant without worrying
about excessive power.
SCOPE
a) Net metering takes average 3 months’ time
b) Can’t export power to grid without net metering
c) Load is less during break time or holidays
d) No need to wait till net metering Definitions
SPECIFIC PROCEDURE
STEP -1 (Verifications)
1. Verify solar evacuation point at load side after grid meter CT.
2. Inverter and ACDB meter data configuration and verification.
3. Grid meter data configuration and verification.
4. Turn off the ACDB / AC side of the inverter to verify grid meter
data.
STEP -2 (Trial/Testing)
5. Test should be conducted at peak time 10 AM to 3 PM.
6. Permission is required for minimum to maximum load variation as
per solar active power generation and depends on load.
STEP -3 (Conditions)
9. All three phase loads should be balanced.
10.Minimum load variation required
11.The power factor should not be hampered by turning on the solar
inverter. (If no then need to maintain the power factor at the grid
side using the capacitor bank or require an APFC panel.)
12.All inverter strings should be ON condition. (Inform us no of strings
connected & working)
PURPOSE
SCOPE
a) Protects DG from excess solar power.
b) Maintains spinning reserve of DG.
c) To optimize solar generation while running with DG.
d) Avoids frequent DG tripping (with solar).
e) Usage of maximum green energy.

7. For the minimum load trial decrease factory load below 30% of DG
capacity.
8. For maximum load trial required load is above 30% of DG capacity.
STEP -3 (Conditions)
9. All three phase loads should be balanced.
10. Minimum load variation required.
11. The power factor should not be hampered by turning on the solar
