1. What's your favorite way to spend a day off?

On my day off, I usually enjoy relaxing at home, taking a break from the busy week. It's a time for me to
recharge and unwind. If I do decide to go out, I often meet up with my friends. Sometimes we gather for a
nice dinner at a cozy restaurant. Then, we like to take a leisurely stroll in the park, enjoying the fresh air
and each other's company.
2. Can you describe your hometown?
My hometown, Uong Bi, is a peaceful city with tall buildings, broad roads, and open spaces for
recreational activities. Despite not being as bustling as major cities like Hanoi, it offers a serene
environment that allows for fresh air and a quieter atmosphere. One aspect I cherish about my hometown
is its abundance in educational and medical resources, providing me with valuable opportunities for
growth and well-being.
3. Describe a memorable holiday you've had.
One of the most memorable holidays I had was a trip to Ha Long Bay, which is just about 30 minutes
from my house, making it easily accessible. We spent the entire day exploring hidden caves and trying
out the local food. When I visited Ha Long Bay, I were surprised, not by the place itself, but by the large
number of people on holiday, leading to overcrowding. This overcrowding makes it difficult to access
services, which are of low quality despite the bay's beauty and peaceful scenery. The high number of
visitors during holidays is something I didn't particularly like about the place. However, for first-time
visitors, it can still be a good experience and very memorable
4. What's your opinion on social media?
Social media, like a double-edged sword, can bring both benefits and challenges.
It allows us to connect with loved ones through platforms such as Facebook, Messenger, Zalo, and
Twitter. For example, I use Twitter, like Zalo, to keep in touch. Besides, it assists in gathering
information for tests and improving skills - handy for subjects like English. Yet, the downside is when
control over comments and fake news is lost, leading to misunderstandings and cyberbullying. The ease
of spreading fake news highlights the necessity of fact-checking before trusting information online.
5. Do you prefer to read e-books or physical books?
I prefer physical books over e-books because of the tactile experience they offer. For instance, feeling the
texture of paper and inhaling the scent of ink creates a unique reading ambiance that e-books lack.
Additionally, I enjoy selecting books based on their covers, as they serve as visual art pieces that enhance
my personal space. Having a physical book allows me to appreciate its design every day, enriching my
reading experience beyond just the content. Moreover, prolonged use of e-books strains my eyes,
impacting my comfort and enjoyment. Despite the convenience of accessing numerous titles digitally, the
potential discomfort and eye strain make me lean towards physical books.
6. What's your favorite type of music, and why?
I don't have a specific music preference, so I choose songs depending on how I feel or what I'm doing.
For instance, when I'm studying or working on university assignments, I opt for music with a fast tempo
and lively rhythm, like POP. On the other hand, when I need to focus and concentrate, I turn to indie or
lo-fi music to create a peaceful ambiance that helps me think clearly and complete my tasks efficiently.
7. Discuss the importance of learning a second language.
Learning a second language can open up new job opportunities with higher pay. It also grants access to a
wider range of information compared to those who speak only one language. Moreover, knowing a
second language enhances the chance of building friendships and gaining insights into diverse cultures
when traveling abroad. This experience can enrich our lives in many ways. Furthermore, bilingualism can
enhance cognitive abilities as it requires thinking in different linguistic patterns, making your problem-
solving skills more versatile.
8. Describe a recent movie you watched. Did you enjoy it?
The last time I watched a movie was three months ago. I came to the cinema with one of my
roommates to see Hellhound. The overall experience turned out to be frustrating for me, primarily due
to my perception of the content being absurd. Towards the end of the film, the characters mentioned the
contrast between people having choices and dogs not having any. This moment puzzled me, adding to my
frustration and dissatisfaction with the movie. Despite this, I found solace in the music, which was the
aspect I enjoyed the most. The presence of actors from both Northern and Southern regions in the movie
contributed to my confusion regarding the film's setting in a Northern village of Vietnam.
9. What's your opinion on climate change?
Climate change is a topic that's really close to my heart. I think it's pretty clear that our planet is going
through some big changes, and it's largely because of how we've been treating it. You know, burning all
those fossil fuels and chopping down forests – it's not great for the environment.
In my opinion, we need to start taking better care of the Earth. We've only got this one planet, right? So,
why not treat it with a bit more respect? That means using cleaner energy sources, like wind and solar
power, instead of relying so much on stuff that pollutes the air. We also need to be smarter about how we
use resources and try not to waste so much.
I get it, change can be tough, but if we don't do something soon, things are only going to get worse. I
believe that if we all work together and start making some changes, we can definitely make a difference.
And who knows? Maybe we'll even make the world a better place for future generations.
10. How do you usually relax after a busy day?
After a tiring day, I like to unwind by listening to some soothing music, or catching up on a favorite TV
show or movie. Sometimes, a walk in nature or some light exercise helps to clear my mind. And of
course, spending quality time with loved ones or engaging in a hobby can be incredibly rejuvenating.
