MATHEMATICS

1. INTEGER EXAMPLE SHEET:


a) Make two dice—one with 6 arbitrary numbers on it and other having
positive, negative signs.
b) The dice can be made with the concept of cubical nets.
c) The students have to roll the dice and write number with the sign and
make 30 such sentence related to the real- life example

2. CONGRUENCE OF TRIANGLES:

a) Cut congruent triangles with the help of a stencil


scale from different - colored pastel sheets.

b) Now arrange these congruent triangles to make


some decorative shapes.

c) One such shape is shown below for reference.

3. REPRESENTING 3D IN 2D:
Make a Model on famous Topiary trees, Gardens and Plants of the world.

4. Make a Model on different-shaped famous buildings of the world.

5. COMPARING QUANTITIES:

Stationery Ratio
a) Collect all the stationery items and find the total stationery items.
b) Find the ratio of each student’s stationery items to the total stationery
items of the group.
c) Identify which ratios are in proportion.
6. INTEREST:
Prepare a chart taking principal as 10,000 and calculate simple interest and
amount that a person will get after one year at different rates.
7. MENSURATION:

Compound Shapes Cutouts


Make and cut compound shapes from a chart paper or pastel sheet or
cardboard and calculate the area of these compound figures.

8. Area of the figure


a) Take a wire of certain length. Form a circle, rectangle and a square
from the wire.
b) Find the answer of area of each of the figures so formed by using the
appropriate formula.
c) Tally the same using a graph paper by placing the figure onto the
graph paper.
9. DATA HANDLING:

Comparison of runs scored by two teams


a) Collect the data of runs scored in last 10 matches by two cricket teams playing
international matches (may be 20-20, one day or test series).
b) Present the information in the form of a double bar graph
