REDUCTION AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT FOR THE
TOURISM INDUSTRY

Pursuant to the agency’s thrust to enhance the overall tourist experience by providing a
safe and secure environment for tourists, the DOT Region III is prioritizing the need to
develop and hone the skills of our tourism industry stakeholders during any crisis,
whether man-made or natural. One way to achieve this goal is to strengthen tourism
governance through close collaboration with LGUs and stakeholders.

In this regard, the Regional Office III is inviting you to join the 1-day Orientation on
Disaster Risk Reduction and Crisis Management for the Tourism Industry on
November 14 and 15, 2023 in Pampanga. (Venue to be determined). Two (2) participants
from each establishment are requested – one (1) Managerial Position and one (1) Safety
Officer.
