 This installation and operation manual (hereinafter
referred to as IME) of the fiberglass reinforcement
production line (hereinafter referred to as MT4) is
intended to familiarize personnel with the technical
data, device, installation and operation of the MT4
complex.
 Before installation and operation of MT4, it is
necessary to study this IME and, in the process of
work, comply with the requirements set forth in it.
 Installation and operation of MT4 should be carried
out by persons with relevant knowledge and
experience in the field of electrical installations.

 1. Purpose and design of MT4 and its components. 1.1. MT4 is
designed for the production of 4 bars of fiberglass reinforcement at
the same time. Produced reinforcement diameters: from 4 mm to 20
mm.

 1.2. MT4 structurally consists of the following components:

 1 - Creel - 4 pcs.
 2 - Roving heater - 1 pc.
 3 - Impregnation module - 1 pc.
 4 - Rib winder - 1 pc.
5 - Infrared booster - 1 pc.
6 - Furnace - 5 pcs.
7 - Cooling module - 1 pc.
8 - Pulling device - 1 pc.
9 - Cutting device - 1 pc.
10 - Coiler - 2 pc.
11- Automatic coiler -1 pc. (optional)
12 - Thread twister - 1 pc.

Creel.
The creel is designed to install roving bobbins on it and also to create a preload of the roving threads
by means of guide rings through which the thread is passed.
The creel is a prefabricated frame structure pos. 1 on which the shelves pos. 2. Guide rings pos. 3.
1.2.2 Roving heater.
The roving heater is designed to level and dry the roving threads by uniformly distributing, warming
up and providing the optimal percentage of moisture required for the further full-fledged
impregnation process with a polymer binder.
The roving heater consists of a frame with sheathing pos. 1, heating elements pos.
1.2.2 Roving heater.
The roving heater is designed to level and dry
the roving threads by uniformly distributing,
warming up and providing the optimal
percentage of moisture required for the further
full-fledged impregnation process with a polymer
binder.

The roving heater consists of a frame with

sheathing pos. 1, heating elements pos. 2, control
panels pos. 3, perforated bracket pos. 4 serving
for uniform distribution of roving threads,
pressure eccentric shaft pos. 5, automatic switch
pos. 6 and covers pos.7.
The impregnation module is designed
for resin impregnation and pressing of
roving threads while maintaining the
important properties of the polymer binder
(fluidity, curing speed, temperature), and
also, using the latest pressing system,
reduces polymer consumption.

The impregnation module consists of a

frame with sheathing pos. 1, bath with resin
pos. 2, holdback pos. 3, control panels pos.
4, pneumatic squeegee pos. 5, scraper pos.
6 and set of spinneret pos. 7.
The rib winder is designed for winding a periodic profile (rib) with
an exact winding step for each size of reinforcement. The angle and exact
coefficient of winding force of the profile provides the rod with a strictly
cylindrical shape and the removal of air from the impregnated
reinforcement rod.

The rib winder consists of a frame with sheathing pos. 1, roving

bobbins pos. 2 which is installed on the crosspiece pos. 3, control panels
pos. 4, belt drive with tensioner pos. 5, automatic switch pos. 9, electric
motor pos. 7, frequency converter pos. 8 and protective cover pos. 9.
The infrared booster is designed to quickly activate the
resin polymerization process.

The infrared booster consists of a frame with sheathing

pos. 1, guide bracket pos. 2, IR heaters pos. 3, control panels
pos. 4, covers pos. 5 and automatic switch pos. 6.
The furnace is designed for polymerization of the resin, in which the
cycle of curing and the formation of finished fiberglass reinforcement
takes place.

The furnace consists of a frame with sheathing pos. 1, heaters

pos. 2, control panels pos. 3, covers pos. 4 and automatic switch pos. 5.
The cooling module is designed for cooling fiberglass fittings.
To eliminate sudden temperature changes and manufacturing defects, the
cooling module is implemented in two parts: an air cooler and a water
cooler.

The air cooler consists of a frame with sheathing pos. 1, outlet

pos. 2, fan pos. 3, control panels pos. 4 and automatic switch pos. 5.
The water cooler consists of a frame with sheathing pos. 1, water
tank pos. 2, pump pos. 3 and tray pos. 4
The pulling device consists of a frame with sheathing pos. 1, guide
bracket pos. 2, control panels pos. 3, a block of thrust rollers pos. 4,
pneumatic block pressure rollers pos. 5, pull rollers pos. 6, encoder pos.7,
lower tape pos. 8, top tape pos. 9, automatic switch pos. 10, filter regulator
with pressure gauge pos. 11, tension nuts pos. 12 and tension rollers pos. 13.
The cutting device is designed for cutting fiberglass reinforcement of a
given length.

The cutting device consists of a frame with sheathing pos. 1, guide

bracket pos. 2, control panels pos. 3, carriage pos.4, limit switch pos. 5,
protective cover pos. 6, automatic switch pos. 7, cutters pos. 8 and
pneumatic clamping pos. 9.
The coiler is designed for laying
fiberglass reinforcement into the
bay.

The coiler consists of a frame

pos. 1, wheels pos. 2, stops pos. 3,
guide pos. 4, stopper pos. 5 and
lock pos. 6.
