2 Building the Website

Your IT company team (Webgenic) has been engaged build a simple website for a client.
In this assessment you’ll be required to create the full website for your client using your
researched and preferred IDE.

2.2 Building the Website

1. Firstly, you must create a site map for the website. The sitemap needs to demonstrate
each of thepages in the website and how they link together which is part of the
planning and development processes. Insert into the space below
2 You then need to build the first three pages (as a minimum) that meets the client
specifications above (Home page, About and Contact Us). Insert screenshots below as
evidence of your 3 pages under the Site Map example page.

3 You then need to publish and/or upload a copy of your complete website to an FTP
server. Insert a screenshot into the space below indicating that it has been uploaded.

2.1.1 Develop a website min 3 webpages (above specifications) ✔

2.1.2 Include navigation links and use text and images suitable for the web, that
are copy write free and site client requirements ✔
2.1.3 Use text formatting including the use of headings and paragraph text ✔

2.1.5 Include a simple contact form and access mark-up language and make
basic modifications to code ✔
2.1.6 Images that are saved in an appropriate file format, appropriately sized
and applicable to the business. Images are used to link between pages. ✔
