Congratulations on your success in the Mental Maths Competition and on being qualified
for the inter-school national round, Grand Finale. It will be held ONLINE on Saturday, 1st
June 2024 and can be attempted from your place.
So, register yourself for Grand Finale and start preparing immediately. Remember that
you are representing school at national level.
▪ Grand Finale is a national-level inter-school round for the students who have
qualified in the first round and paid participation fees.
▪ It raises the performance bar and sharpens their mathematical skills.
▪ It is a great excitement for children to be flag bearers of the school and represent
the school in a national round.
▪ Grand Finale is very challenging and winners get rewarded cash prizes, trophies,
medals and Certificate of Merit.
Before you register for the Grand Finale, please read all details, schedule, terms and
conditions and updates on the website. Please note that fees once paid is non-transferable
and will not be refunded under any circumstances. Steps -
▪ The first prize is of AED 1500, the Second prize AED 1000 and Third prize AED 500
▪ Trophy, Medals and Certificate of Merit
▪ In case of tie, the prize money will be distributed among the winners as per the
method described under Competition section at www.ignitedmindlab.com/ae
▪ All Participants of Grand Finale to get Certificate of Merit
▪ Your grade/year for the Grand Finale will be the same as the first round of
competition
▪ Solving past papers is the best way to prepare for the Grand Finale. The syllabus
remains the same as the first round of examination
▪ Negative marking applicable for the Grand Finale
Strict action against unfair practices during the test:
Student under the guidance of parents must accept terms and conditions of the Online
competition and allow access to the devices, capture feed and review it for proctoring
purpose.
The violations during the online test include face detection failure, detection of multiple
faces (persons), moving away from camera, camera not connected, Mic not connected etc.
in addition to the other unfair practices adopted during the examination.
The smart proctoring system detects violations and informs the human proctor. The
proctor will go through the evidence from the recorded pictures, screenshots, video and
audio evidence if any and may impose penalty in the form of negative marks not exceeding
10 marks.
