Professional Practice / Fieldwork /
Work Placement
• Graduates of the Bachelor of Human and Community Services have completed a
minimum of 400 hours of fieldwork / industry placements over two separate
supervised placements. Completion of both placements meets the requirements of
the Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA).
• Graduates of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education have completed a minimum
of 85 days of supervised teaching experience and graduates of the Graduate
Diploma of Early Childhood Education have completed a minimum of 60 days of
supervised placement across the duration of their course.
