Quad Tool Not Turning Blue?
● Problem:
Quad Tool doesn't
turn blue.
● Solution:
1. Open Outliner
2. Select your HP or
Guide
3. Click Live Surface
Magnet
4. Check the name is
correct
5. Activate Quad
Draw
Quad Tool Selecting?
● Problem:
Quad Draw doesn’t
continue where I left off.
Solution
1. Make sure your HP or
Guide Is selected as a
Live Surface
2. Press Q. Now Select
the Low Poly you were
working on.
3. Click Quad Draw
Quad Tool Can’t Click?
● Problem:
Quad Draw won’t draw a point on my
surface.
Solution
● Chances are you have a backface
interference.
● This happens when two faces
overlap each other backwards.
Commonly in thick areas
● Isolate the problem area
● Use a Brush like Move Topological
to pull the surfaces apart
Mesh Not Welding?
● Problem: ● Solution
Two verts don’t weld in Quad Draw Open Quad Draw Options to the right
Tick Auto Weld or Increase the Tolerance
