ASSESSMENT CHANGES for 2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

Due to the ministerial request to extend the 2021 registration dates, Unisa had to amend both the
semester dates and the assessment arrangements for the 2021 academic year.
During 2021 we will have only one semester and only one tuition and assessment period.
The purpose of this TL001 is to inform you of the new assessment requirements for module
MAC3702: Application of Management Accounting Techniques for students registered during
2021 for the one semester period.
Therefore, please IGNORE the assignment due dates in TL101.

1 Updated assignment due dates

The new assignment due dates for MAC3702 for the 2021 academic year are as follows:

2 The assignments
Assignment 01 and assignment 02 questions are not included in this tutorial letter (TL001). You
will find the assignments under “Additional Resources” on myUnisa, from where you must
download them.

3 The examination
There will be only one examination period for the 2021 academic year for this module. If
you are registered for the 2021 academic year, you will write the examination during the revised
examination period which is expected to start in September 2021, and the related supplementary
examination in 2022 (if applicable).
For all other information regarding module MAC3702, you should still refer to Tutorial letter 101.
