Health Bulletin:

On Monday, January 22, 2024, the signing of clearance for 1 st Semester of SY

2023-2024 will start. Students and Employees are hereby reminded of the usual
procedure of cueing at University Clinic for their clearance from Health Services
before having their laboratory tests done from outside (non-institutional)
establishments.

For the purpose of uniformity, accuracy, and orderliness of laboratory tests

being required of all stakeholders, ULS is glad to announce that our institution is
now ready to cater to the needs of everyone. The standard laboratory tests and
Chest X-ray procedures are now available at University hospital building.

For the guidance of students and employees:

1) Every one need to check on their health records at the University clinic
before proceeding to their laboratory and X-ray needs. It maximizes
accurate monitoring of state of health at the same time minimizes
unnecessary availment of laboratory procedures which are already
monitored within a one-year period, therefore, need not be repeated.
2) University clinic personnel are the only qualified person to determine what
laboratory procedures do students and employees need, thereby the need
to see them before proceeding further with seeking signing of clearance.
3) With the availability of all standard laboratory procedures in our very own
institution, ULS Administration recommends that all stakeholders should
avail of these services. Non-institutional laboratories have been proven to
release “unreliable, non-accurate, & misleading” results, thus defeating the
purpose of attaining optimal health for all if they continue to be patronized.
