Job Description and Role

Role: Member of Technical Staff (MTS)

Mindstix is looking for talented engineers to join our core software engineering team. You will
be responsible for building high-performance cloud and enterprise applications for our
customers.

● Analyze product requirements and propose technical solutions. Design data

models, data flows, API specifications, architectural patterns.

● Creative problem solving and rapid prototyping to devise new ideas and
strategies.

● Build products on our bleeding-edge tech stack:

○ Languages: Enterprise Java, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP

○ Frameworks: Spring, ReactJS, VueJS,

○ Mobile Platforms: iOS Swift, Android Kotlin, React Native

○ Data Science: Big Data Platforms, Gen AI and Machine Learning

Stack
 ● Deliver well designed, efficient, and testable code.

● Deploy your solutions to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure,

and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

● Performance engineering, security engineering, release management.

● Work on build and test automation to validate your product.

● Undertake technical due-diligence and explore new languages, frameworks, and

platforms.

● Debugging and root-cause analysis of technical issues.

Work Location
This position is primarily based at our Pune (India) headquarters, requiring all potential hires to
work from this location. A modern workplace is deeply collaborative by nature, while also
demanding a touch of flexibility. We embrace deep collaboration at our offices with reasonable
flexi-timing and hybrid options for our seasoned team members.

Qualifications and Skills

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or allied
streams.

● Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and logical problem solving.

● Proficiency in any one programming language.

● Strong foundation in SQL is required.

● Strong foundations in computer science: Object Oriented Programming (OOP), design

patterns, relational database systems, networking concepts, operating system concepts,
information security concepts.

● Understanding of the modern Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), agile

methodologies, software testing methodologies.

● Understanding concepts in software version control (Git), CI-CD (Jenkins), and

familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) would be an added
advantage.

● Hands-on experience with at least one academic or internship project would be an

added advantage.

Our Screening Process

Our intensive screening process is well calibrated to assess core programming skills and
foundations of Computer Science.

We expect proficiency in at least one programming language of your choice and the ability to
write clean, mature, working code. The candidate’s ability to persevere through challenging
engineering problems and the ability to communicate clearly (in English) are also assessed
through the process.

Screening Round Area of Focus

Round #1 - Programming Test Logical programming skills, data structures,

algorithms, analytical problem solving.
CS Foundations: Operating systems,
database platforms, object-oriented
programming, design patterns, networking
concepts, web technologies, concepts in
information security.

Round #2 - Technical Interview Language and framework skills:

Proficiency in anyone programming language
and development framework, language
concepts and constructs.

Hands-on projects: Prior project experience,

technical design, your contributions to the
solution and engineering.

Round #3 - Leadership Discussion Leadership assessment.

Discussion with HR.

Round #4 - HR Discussion
