BEGINNING *

Career guidance consists of services that help people successfully manage their career
development. A person's professional identity develops through a process called career
development. Career guidance activity is a comprehensive, developmental program
designed to assist students in making and implementing informed educational and
occupational choices.

While it will happen naturally as you grow older, it could be helpful to have help
navigating this sometimes very complex process. But the goal of career guidance is to
support people all the way through their lives.

Once again, Good morning, Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to be the moderator
for this program. I am Ms. Edselle A. Acupiado and on behalf of SJBIB faculty, I would
like to extend a very warm welcome to all of you. We hope you will learn a lot today for
we have lined-up topics for this time to be fruitful and engaging for you.

Before we proceed to the program proper, may I invite everyone to feel and be in the
presence of the God Almighty. May I request all of you to stand for the prayer to be lead

At this juncture, to give us the meaning and what is all about the strands of GENERAL
ACADEMIC STRAND (GAS) AND HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCE
(HUMMS). Let us welcome our Asst. Principal for Academics and grade 12 adviser Mrs.
Shiena Ann Samar. Let’s give her a big round of applause.
