UPCOMING DEADLINES:

Spring 2024:

1. Standard Round - September 1st, 2023


2. Final Round - October 1st, 2023

Fall 2024:

1. Early Round - October 15th, 2023


2. Standard Round - December 5th,
2023 *Note this deadline has changed
from the last cycle.
3. Final Round (International candidates
outside the US) - March 15th, 2024
4. Final Round (US Citizens/Permanent
Residents and International Students
currently in the US) - May. 1st, 2024

FULL-TIME OR PART-
TIME

Students can pursue the degree by enrolling


full-time or choosing to do the program part-
time. It should be noted that there is no
separate part-time or Oexible evening/weekend
schedule. All part-time students take classes
with full-time students. This typically requires
some employer scheduling Oexibility since
many classes are held during traditional
daytime hours.

FALL VS. SPRING


ENROLLMENT

Fall
Traditional track -ideal for all students
1. Completed in 1.5 years
2. Internship in summer

Spring
Fast track -ideal for candidates with
several years of directly-relevant
professional experience for whom an
internship would not be necessary to
be competitive for full-time
employment
1. Completed in 1 year
2. No internship - take electives in
the summer
Traditional/Extended track - ideal for
candidates who plan to intern
1. Completed in 1.5 or 2 years
2. Internship is completed in 1st
or 2nd summer*

Spring Internship Track for International


Students - International Students beginning in
the spring term may opt into an internship track
for which an internship would be required in the
summer immediately following the spring term.
This allows those students to complete an
internship after one semester in the program
and is in compliance with CertiYed Practical
Training (CPT) policy.

APPLICATION
REQUIREMENTS

Quantitative aptitude - To be able to


handle the quantitative rigor of the QCF
program, it is important that you have a
working knowledge of calculus, including
differential and integral calculus of one
variable and multivariate calculus,
fundamentals of linear algebra and linear
systems of equations, differential
equations, and probability and statistics.
This is typically satisYed by having taken
most of the following recommended
courses:
Calculus I, II, & III
Linear Algebra
Probability & Statistics
Differential Equations

Programming experience - Programming


experience is strongly preferred in one or
more of the following: Python, R, C++,
SAS or other relevant languages.

Statement of Purpose - Tell us why you


want to study in this program, why you
think you would make a competitive
candidate and how you think this program
will set you up to achieve your future
academic/professional goals.

Short-answer questions - As part of the


application, you will be asked to
provide the following:
1. What makes you a unique candidate
for the program in comparison to
other applicants?
2. Describe in detail your programming
experience and technical skills.
3. Is there anything you'd like to
address or highlight about your
candidacy that you haven't been
able to address elsewhere?

GRE or GMAT score


An occial GRE or GMAT score is
required. We will waive GRE for those
that have completed a 4-year
undergraduate degree in the United
States with a 3.7 GPA or higher. Test
scores are considered valid if
submitted within 5 years of the date
the exam was taken. If multiple scores
are submitted, we will consider the one
with the higher quantitative score.
Please use Institute Code 5248 to
submit your occial GRE and TOEFL
(international students only) scores to
Georgia Tech. If submitting a GMAT
score, please use Institute Code HWK-
54-37 You do not have to select a
department code.
To schedule your exam, please visit the
occial GRE or GMAT websites.
Additional materials may also be found
to help you in your preparation.
Please note that it may take up to 3
weeks for us to receive your oLcial
scores, so please plan accordingly.

Letters of Recommendation - You will be


asked to provide the email addresses of 3
recommenders. We will send a form to
them electronically that they will
complete. Academic and professional
references are acceptable.

Application Fee - To submit the


application, you will be assessed a fee of
$75 for domestic candidates and $85 for
international candidates. The payment
may be made by e-check (Us bank
account only) or credit card.

Admissions Interview - Competitive


candidates will be invited to participate in
a behavioral interview. Interviews will be
by invitation only.

Admissions Decision - We will do our very


best to release decisions within 4-8 weeks
of the posted deadline for spring and 8-12
weeks after the posted deadline for fall.
