My new neighbors

My next-door neighbors are a lovely young couple. Are my next-door


neighbors young? Yes, they are young.
His name is Tony. What’s his name? His name’s Tony.
Tony is 30 years old. How old is he? He’s 30 years old.
He is American and works in the local school. Is he English? No, he isn’t
English, he is American. Where does he work? He works in the local
school.
Laura, his wife is in her late twenties. What’s his wife’s name? Her name’s
Laura.
She is English and works in a local bank. Is she American? No, she isn’t
American, she’s English.
Where does she work? She works in a local bank.
They live in a small house and have no children. Where do they live? They
live in a small house. Do they have kids? No, they don’t have any children.
Tony is a tall and athletic person with green eyes and short curly hair. He
often dresses in black pants and blue shirt, and sometimes he puts on a tie.
Is Tony short? Tony isn’t short, he’s tall. Does he have blue eyes? No, he
doesn’t have blue eyes, he has green eyes.
He’s a talkative person. He enjoys reading newspaper but hates watching
television. Does he like watching television? No, he doesn’t like watching
television, he likes reading newspapers.
He’s tolerant and patient. Is he patient? Yes, he’s patient. He’s not selfish.
He’s ambitious.
Is he selfish and ambitious? No, he’s not selfish, but he’s ambitious.
Laura is tall too, she is a good-looking woman. Is Laura tall? Yes, she’s
tall. She has green eyes, long straight blond hair and a beautiful face. Is she
beautiful? Yes, she’s very beautiful.
She generally dresses in black blouses and black skirts to go to work; she
likes to wear red shoes and white cardigans. Does she like to wear black
cardigans? No, she doesn’t like to wear black cardigans, she likes to wear
white cardigans.
She is smart and easy going. Unlike her husband, she enjoys watching TV
very much but not reading newspapers. Does she like to read newspapers?
No, she doesn’t like to read newspapers. She likes to watch television.
She’s generous and helpful. Is she generous? Yes, she’s generous.
She has a great sense of humor, she likes telling funny stories to her
friends. Does she like to tell boring stories? No, she doesn’t like to tell
boring stories, she likes to tell funny stories.
They are good neighbors. Are they bad neighbors? No, they are not bad
neighbors, they are great neighbors.
