APPARATUS :- Resistance Wire, Voltmeter, Ammeter, Battery Eliminator,


Rheostat, Meter Scale, One way Key, Connecting Wires, sand Paper, Screw Gauge,
Meter Scale, Graph Sheet

Theory: Ohm'slawstatesthattheelectriccurrent flowingthrougha conductorisdirectlyproportional


tothepotential differenceacrossitstwoends, whenotherphysical conditionsliketemperature
remainsconstant.

Procedure:-

Thecircuit consistingofVoltmeterandAmmeter,Rheostat, Plugkey, BatteryEliminator,all


connectedinseriesusingconnectingwires.Andthewire whose Resistanceisunknownisconnected
acrosstheVoltmeter. ThereadingofAmmeterandVoltmetershowingcurrent andvoltage
respectivelywhilechangingthesettingofRheostat forprovidingvariableresistanceisnoteddown
afterensuringall thecomponentsare Connectedthecomponentsasshowninthecircuit diagram.
