Dec. 31, Located at Magna Centre, 800 Mulock Dr. From 2:30-9:30 p.m. volunteers will assist with set up/clean up, security, distributing glow bracelets, noise makers, hot chocolate, make n take crafts, face painting, jumping castles & more. (Pizza dinner provided to volunteers)

HELP KEEP NEWMARKET CLEAN & GREEN! Sat. May 1, 2010 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Pre-registration not required. Town of Newmarket Municipal Office 395 Mulock Dr. 8:30 a.m. Enjoy a coffee, fill out a door prize ballot, pick up gloves and garbage bags. Choose an area to clean (maps provided). 9 a.m.-12 noon, community clean up. 12 noon-1 p.m. Volunteers enjoy a free BBQ lunch.

Sat. May 8, 2010, Newmarket Youth & Recreation Centre, 56 Charles St. Volunteers needed to help hand out flyers, backstage help and security assistance from 6 -10 p.m. Sat. May 29, 2010 Located at the new park off Ford Wilson Dr. (off of Davis Dr.) 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Volunteers will assist with set up/take down, parking, handing out flyers etc. This event focuses on free outdoor interactive classes including Yoga, Meditation, Labyrinth, Tai Chi, Kids Yoga, Pilates. Weather permitting (no rain date).

Times TBA Experience multi-cultural dancing, singing, music, arts/crafts, theatre, food vendors, cooking demonstrations, activities, vendors, fashion shows, films/videos, photography etc. Assist with set up/take down, stage performers, food vendors, crafts, parking, childrens activities, handing out flyers and more.
