The nervous system is the major controlling, regulatory, and communicating system in
the body.

 Central Nervous System-

-Serves as the main processing center for the entire nervous system

 Brain

-Organ that located within the skull that function as organizer and distributor of information for
the body

 Spinal Cord

-Serves as a channel of signal between the brain and the rest of the body

-Control simple musculoskeletal reflexes without input of the brain

3 Main Componets Of Brain

- Cerebrum

-Large, located on the upper part of brain


-Control activity and thought

Frontal lobe- consciousness

Parietal lobe- for speech

Occipital- visual
