Proposal: Expanding the mind club

Introduction
There is a wide variety of clubs in our college, that usually focus on different
types of sports or arts, which does a great deal for the development of the students´
personal interests, but barely reflects on the activity of their brains, which is why I
am proposing the founding of a Jigsaw Puzzle club.
Expanding the mind
Not many people realize how huge the positive effect of solving puzzles
really is. In fact working on a puzzle reinforces connections between the braincells,
improves mind speed and is a good prevention of memory loss and therefore
dementia. It would provide the partaking students partnership and problem-solving
skills, while their mental health also benefits, because this club would surely have
a calming, meditative effect on them.
Student participation
A puzzle club should be promoted in a jolly way since it really is not
something all that serious as a math or physics club. We should let all students
know of all the benefits of their potential participation, which also should not be
mandatory, but rather at will - whenever one feels like joining and for as long as
they desire. That would give freedom to everybody to participate on their own
terms and would lead to a vaster amount of participants.
Conclusion
A puzzle club would bring plenty to the college experience of many that
study here and would really expand their minds, so I believe that the creation of
one would be favorable.
