2 General a. Ensure the Fire Pump Rm layouts are updated to the latest approved
Architectural Layouts.
Ans: Noted, it’s a latest layout.

b. To indicate the size of the common plinth which includes the height for the
TR243 pumps system.
Ans: Refer a drawing at Section E indicated common Plinth Size and Section
A-A and Section B-B indicated height of valves and systems.

c. To indicate all addition floor mounted pipe supports, eg. Breeching Inlet /
Overflow pipes supports, etc. plinths and size, other than the common, in the
Plan layouts. To provide relevant elevations.
Ans: Refer a Section A-A indicated Overflow pipe support hanger.
Section A-A shown plinth elevation with size other than common plinth.
Breeching Inlet manifold support shown on Section C-C

d. Ensure all vertical pipes shall be adequately supported. Eg. overflow pipe /
discharge pipe/etc.
Ans: Noted, Section B-B indicated overflow vertical pipe support.

e. Ensure the proposed designs provision for TR243 FPS wet-system pipes /
pumps / pipes supports / plinths / panels / etc. locations and size do not
encroach into other sub-contractor’s equipment shared together in the same
Fire Pump Rm.
Ans: Noted, This pump room design is not shared with any other contractor
equipment’s is not related to fire.

f. To provide notation for all pumps, main piping, panels, discharge pipes,
etc. under TR243 scopes of works.
Ans: Please refer Section B-B

g. Please label and indicate y-Strainer in sectional details.

h. Please indicate the sprinkler pump panel for the two pumps
Ans: Please refer Spk Pump Room Plan View

i. Ensure the FPS wet-system pipes from fire pumps have space to access
valves/strainers/etc and do not encroach for future maintenance and
replacement of these valves / strainers / etc.
Ans: Noted.

j. Include the component for the pump details. Eg. motor, suction, outlet,
coupling, pump guard, inertia block, etc. in the Pump details layouts.
Ans: Please refer Section A-A for motor, suction, outlet, pump guard,
inertia block. etc

k. Include schematic drawings to show the flow of the water from incoming.
Ans: Refer attached Domestic water supply schematic diagram

a) To indicate all the vertical pipes supports mounted on floor.


Ans: Please Refer Section A-A

b) TR243 proposed to provide floor pipes supports for fire pumps,


due to the high pump room soffit height. To provide floor
mounted pipe supports layouts and elevations drawings.
Ans: Please Refer Section A-A and Spk Pump Room Plan view.

a) Ensure the In-coming main pipes c/w Float valve are accessible
for general maintenance.
Ans: Noted, Incoming main pipe complete with float valve and accessible for
general maintenance.

b) Please clarify if the line is the height of the water level (HWL)
please annotate.
Ans: Please Refer Section F,
The Height Of Water Level is 1800mm.

c) To extend the glass level indicator tube longer at least 1.0M from
effective water capacity level.
Ans: Noted, Please Refer Section A-A.
