Our increasingly reliance on modern technology

It is indeed true that people in the modern world have become too reliant on
information technology. Nowadays, we can search any question on the internet and ,in
a split of a second, we will have the answer. However, is it bad for us to rely so much
on the internet and modern technology?

In first place, it is essential to use the internet when we are working on ,for example, a
school project, owing to encyclopedias not being updated and much of the information
will be wrong or incomplete. Nevertheless, we can not just be done with the first
answer we are given , instead, we should search for any discrepancies or different
arguments.

Secondly, we can not avoid the fact that technology takes much of our leisure time.
Teenagers spend most of their time on social media instead of studying ,reading or just
hanging out with their friends. This has increased obesity on young people significantly
because they just do not have enough time to do any sports.

In conclusion, I believe that we rely too much on modern technology. It is a tool we

need to make things more efficiently and quickly, and therefore we must use it wisely.
Otherwise, there will be a moment that will depend so much on the internet that we will
not be able to survive without it.
