“CALLING/URGING THE DMMMSU BOARD OF REGENTS TO RECONSIDER ITS

DECISION IN TRANSFERRING THE BACHELOR OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
PROGRAM AT THE DMMMSU NAGUILIAN CAMPUS”

WHEREAS, this resolution is being made to urge the DMMMSU Board of Regents to
reconsider its decision in transferring the Bachelor of Public Administration program at the
DMMMSU Naguilian Campus;

WHEREAS, the transfer of the program will cause inconvenience to the students
currently enrolled in the program at the Naguilian Campus;

WHEREAS, transfer of the BPA program may cause considerable disruption to the
current students and faculty, potentially affecting their academic performance and professional
development, as well as undermining morale within the campus community; and

WHEREAS, the decision to transfer the BPA program could result in decreased
enrollment and financial instability for the Naguilian Campus, adversely impacting its overall
sustainability and the quality of education offered;

RESOLVED, That the immediate measures be taken to address any current challenges
faced by the BPA program at the Naguilian Campus, including but not limited to resource
allocation, faculty development, and infrastructure improvement;

RESOLVED, That the DMMMSU Board of Regents is urged to reconsider its decision
in transferring the Bachelor of Public Administration program at the DMMMSU Naguilian
Campus; and

Resolved, That the copies of this resolution be furnished to the DMMMSU Board of
Regents, the Office of the University President, the Dean of the College offering the BPA
program, local government units, and other relevant stakeholders for their information and
appropriate action.
