SPEAKING 2ND TERM

- What do you have to do?

You have to do TWO things:
1. Write a scene from a film or book or invent your own story.

(that is, write the SCRIPT of the scene, including the dialogue or
monologue, and some other information that you think is important
such as the setting, characters, descriptions…)

2. Film the scene.

- How will you do it?

You can do the task individually, in pairs or in groups:
1. If you do it individually, the scene should last 1 minute
2. If you do it in pairs, the video should be 2 minutes long
3. If you do it in groups of 3, it should be 3 minutes long
4. And so on…
No matter how many people you are, each should speak for more or less
the same amount of time.

- Topic
You can choose any topic for your video (you can be as creative as you wish!),
but it needs to have some kind of mystery. That is, it should be a scene from a
mystery story (including some enigma, a plot twist…)

- But Clara, I am very shy and I don’t want other people to

watch my video!
You do not have to show it in class! So do not worry about that
