HOW TO ASK A GIRL OUT WITHOUT BEING PUSHY

First gauge her level of interest while you're having a conversation with her and then invite
her. Example:

YOU: … blah blah blah and that’s why I don’t keep dogs as pets anymore.

HER: [laughing] Oh my God, that’s so funny!

YOU: Yeah. Hey, do you like Sofar? Sofar Sounds?

HER: What’s that?

YOU: Oh, it’s just this concert company. They do a lot of live music events.

HER: I love live music!

YOU: I know, right? Live music’s the best! I should take you to one of these sometime.
They’re really good!

HER: Okay!

YOU: What’s your schedule like over the next week or so?

HER: Umm, I think I could be free next weekend. I have to check.

YOU: All right cool. Let me get your number. We can figure it out over text.

YOU: By the way, you’re probably busy because I bet you’re really cool and popular, but if
you end up being free tomorrow night, definitely let me know. I’m actually going to one of
their events at [location].

That’s how you do it.

Now you’ve got the number, floated a date idea, found she liked it, and found out her
availability.

Notice she hasn’t said anything about tomorrow night (if she said she was free tomorrow
night you could’ve directly asked), but she’s possibly not free, since she said she could be free
(not until) “next weekend.”
She also might just be playing it safe by saying next weekend to wait and see until she has a
better feel for how cool you are – i.e., that you are not pushy or needy… at which point, once
she’s confident you’re cool, she will suddenly “become more available.”

How do you show her you’re cool, rather than pushy/needy? BY THE WAY YOU INTERACT
WITH HER.

After getting her number, you then give value and build her up by suggesting she’s popular
and probably busy already, while letting her know you’re going to one of those cool events
the next day.

You haven’t asked her directly, so won’t need to deal with negative compliance if she isn’t
free, but you’ve already established she wants to go to one of these events, that she wants to
go out with you

And that the two of you probably are going to go out, plus you’ve built her up so she can
actually safely be a little modest now and not worry you’ll think she’s low value.

So, if she wants, she can tell you, “Well actually I’m free tomorrow.”

This is something she could not have done had you not built her up first, and instead just
acted pushy.
